Meridiani

Meridiani was founded in 1996 by Renato Crosti, after more than thirty years in furniture manufacturing, working with his wife Laura Ferraro Crosti and designer Andrea Parisio to develop the brand’s first collection. Production has always stayed at the company’s own 10,000-square-meter facility in Misinto, in Italy’s Brianza region, where roughly 68,000 meters of fabric and nearly 6,000 square meters of leather are sewn each year. Meridiani opened its first mono-brand store in Milan in 2000, followed by branches in France, Miami, the UK, China, London, and New York over the following two decades, and now sells in more than 50 countries. Italian Design Brands acquired the company in 2016; the group renamed itself Dexelance in 2024, and Meridiani remains part of that group today.

Andrea Parisio has served as Meridiani’s art director since its founding, nearly thirty years, overseeing the brand’s collections, flagship stores, and trade-show presence. His Plinto table, Ludwig cabinet, and Zoe armchair each won a Wallpaper* Design Award. Meridiani describes its philosophy under the tagline “my home is ME,” treating a home as, in the brand’s words, “a mirror of its inhabitant.”
