Casadesus

CasaDesús was founded in 1973 in Barcelona by Jaime Casadesús and remains a family-owned business, now led by its second generation. The company manufactures entirely in Spain, at its facility in Castellví de Rosanes outside Barcelona, with a nearly fully vertical production process that keeps carpentry, welding, polishing, pattern-making, and upholstery all in-house. That structure has let the brand build a catalog centered on sofas, armchairs, chairs, beds, and occasional and storage pieces across three historic lines: Modern, Classic, and Decó.

CasaDesús has worked with designers including Gianfranco Gualtierotti, Giancarlo Vegni, Carles and Marc Ferruz, and Ximo Roca, alongside earlier collaborations with Estudi Bernal-Isern, Nancy Robbins, and Pete Sans, producing enduring models such as the Don, Key, and Roma. The company expanded internationally through European trade fairs in Germany and France before reaching American and Asian markets, and today sources its fabrics, leathers, metals, woods, and fillings from European suppliers as part of a stated zero-impact manufacturing philosophy.
