Gallotti&Radice

Gallotti&Radice is an Italian furniture company founded in 1956 by Pierangelo Gallotti and Luigi Radice, who met at the School of Industrial Art in Milan and opened a workshop dedicated to the artistic decoration of glass. Based in Cermenate, in the Como province of Lombardy, the company pioneered all-glass furniture in Italy in the early 1970s and remains family-run today, guided by the next generation — Silvia and Massimo Gallotti and Marco and Pierangelo Radice. Its production joins industrial techniques such as water-jet cutting and tempering with hand craftsmanship, pairing glass and crystal with marble, brass, and wood, and treating the metal joint as both a technical solution and a stylistic signature. The company marked its 70th anniversary in 2026 with the “Tales in Glass” exhibition during Milan Design Week.

The collection’s founding icon is the Adam table, designed by Luigi Massoni in 1971 as the first table made entirely of glass, alongside early pieces such as Pierangelo Gallotti’s SirT 32 coffee table and Riki trolley. Massimo Castagna has shaped much of the contemporary catalog with more than fifty designs, including the marble-and-glass Haumea coffee table (2015) and the hand-blown Bolle lighting family, while the 0414 armchair (2014) by the in-house studio has become one of the brand’s best-known seats. Patricia Urquiola designed the Changes modular mirror system in 2009, and recent collaborations with Studiopepe, david/nicolas, Draga & Aurel, Federica Biasi, and Oscar and Gabriele Buratti have earned the company multiple Archiproducts Design Awards in 2024 and 2025, honoring pieces such as the H2O chair, the Re-Verre table, and the Saki and Tratto designs.
