Walk into our showroom in the Upper Kirby District and the family part is not a slogan on the wall. It is Adrian Dueñas, our CEO and co-founder, on the floor with clients. It is co-founder and lead designer Marcelo Sáenz curating the 22,000 square feet you walk through. It is Daniel Crocker, our Director of Sales, guiding projects from first visit to final specification, and Mauricio Garcia making sure every piece crosses the ocean on schedule.
It is design consultants Ami Hemrajani and Lydia Meeks bringing decades of combined experience to every room, Patricia Dimick keeping the whole operation connected, and Juan Esquivel and Enrique Tamargo placing each delivery in your home as carefully as they would in their own.
Every one of them treats your project the way you treat your home: personally.
Family ownership shapes how we operate in ways clients feel. Decisions get made in the showroom, not a corporate office in another state. When your Molteni&C wardrobe or B&B Italia sofa arrives from Italy, the people who ordered it, tracked it, and installed it all know your name. And when something needs attention in year three, the same family answers the phone.
The Company the Recognition Describes
BeDESIGN is Houston’s international destination for contemporary European design. We represent more than 45 European brands, including B&B Italia, Molteni&C, FlexForm, Maxalto, Poltrona Frau, Henge, and Paola Lenti, with furniture, lighting, rugs, wallpaper, custom kitchens, and closet systems under one roof.
Our milestones tell the story of BeDESIGN’s growth. In 2023, our tenth anniversary marked a major expansion, bringing the showroom to the 22,000 square feet clients experience today. The expansion included a rooftop terrace furnished with beloved Paola Lenti pieces, making BeDESIGN the only Houston showroom with such a space.
That February, we also opened the only Flexform flagship showroom in Texas, a launch covered by PaperCity. In 2025, our team received Molteni’s worldwide award for Best Residential Project for a custom closet designed for a home in The Woodlands.
Now, in 2026, the Houston Business Journal has recognized the foundation behind it all: our family ownership.
